Create and Adjust Savings Goals

Goals turn a large future expense into a visible target and suggested monthly pace.

Create the goal

Open Goals, choose Create a Goal, and enter a name, target amount, current progress, and target date.

Use Update Progress when money is added to the goal. Enter the latest total saved so the percentage and pace remain accurate.

If you use part of the saved amount elsewhere, lower the current progress to the new total. PerfectCents recalculates the remaining amount.

Use Edit Goal to revise the target amount, target date, or name. The suggested monthly pace updates to match the new plan.
