Add Checking and Savings Accounts

Open the correct account section

Expand Accounts in the left navigation, then choose Checking or Savings. Select the add-account button in that section.

Enter the starting balance

Give the account a recognizable name such as Everyday Checking or Emergency Savings. Enter the balance as it exists when you begin tracking it.

Add optional private details

Account and routing numbers are encrypted before storage. After saving, PerfectCents displays only a masked version such as 123****89 until you intentionally reveal it.

Add the financial institution’s website URL if you want a convenient link. PerfectCents does not use that URL to sign in or retrieve data.

Review and update the account

Select the account card at any time to open its balance history and activity. Use Edit Account Details to add identifiers later or update an older account.
